HealthSpan, INC is a comprehensive health care management firm.  Our mission is to locate, coordinate, supervise and monitor appropriate and individualized care for elderly, disabled, chronically ill adults and children.  Our services are confidential.  Fees are based on the time we spend and service we perform.

We begin by meeting the individuals involved to research and determine the needs and expectations of those seeking assistance.  We then summarize our suggesstions in writing within a care plan that outlines the level and type of support services currently needed in the future. 

Our expertise allows you to learn about the many care resources available in this community.  Because of our familiarity with these resources and how they work, we can assist you in getting the best care possible for yourself, a family member or someone for whom you are responsible.
Our support doesn't end after our recommendations are offered.  We provide ongoining counseling when appropriate and prepare periodic status reports, including the updating of our initial recommendations.  We may also include home visits, nursing home visits and visits to other facilities as needed.
HealthSpan, INC is a member of CMSA.  This is a national network through which we are able to refer our clients to care resources almost anywhere in the United States.

In Wisconsin a 31% increase in elderly population is expected over the next few years.  There is an expected increase in survival rates of elderly and chronically ill adults and handicapped children.  More and more services will be developed to service these individuals.  Consequently, the already complex maze of services will become even more complicated. 

Founder

Since 1982 Lori L. Paprocki, the founder of HealthSpan, INC, has maintained extensive experience in the field of nursing.  She holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in nursing with considerable post-degree education and course work in nursing practice, education, administration and business.  In addition Ms. Paprocki holds membership in Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society for Nurses and is listed in Who's Who Worldwide.  She has presented educational lectures and seminars for professionals and non-professionals and has held several upper management positions in the field of home health.  Ms. Paprocki's nursing experience includes medical, surgical, orthopedic, OB/GYN, pediatrics and hospice in both acute and community health settings and her expereince is extensive.
